St. Stephen’s presents SerbFest 2013

St. Stephen’s Serbian Orthodox Church, 177 Weber Road, will host a celebration of Serbian culture and traditions from noon to midnight Saturday, July 27, and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday, July 28. Admission is $1 for those older than 18, and there will be pastries for sale, music and performance by the Tammies, a dancing group, at 5 p.m. Saturday, and 2:30 and 5 p.m. Sunday. Fourteen Holy Helpers plans casino trip

There will be a bus trip to Seneca Niagara Casino departing from Fourteen Holy Helpers Church, 1350 Indian Church Road, at 9 a.m. Monday, July 29. It will return at 6 p.m. For more information, call Paula at 668-6037.

Clara Barton portrayer to give speech

Clara Barton, as portrayed in costume by Denise Reichard, will speak after the Ebenezer Seniors meeting on her life in the Civil War and how she founded the American Red Cross. The meeting is at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, followed by the program at 1:30 p.m. Call 674-4566 for more information.

Blessed Mother Teresa Parish calling for crafters

Blessed Mother Teresa Parish on Terrace Boulevard in Depew will hold a craft show on Saturday, Oct. 12, and is looking for crafters. For an application or more information, call 683-2746, ext. 208.

Library to hold annual yard sale

The Friends of the West Seneca Public Library will host a yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, in front of the library at 1300 Union Road. A donation fee of $15 will ensure space to accommodate a vendor’s own 6-foot table. Two spaces can be “rented” for a $20 donation. The Y.E.S. organization will be doing free face painting for children and will also sell hot dogs and cool drinks. Sellers may contact Audrey at 674-7496.
