Relay success due to WS community

I would like to extend a huge thank you to the community of West Seneca, a place I proudly call home.

In 2004, a senior at West Senior High approached me to co-chair an event he wanted to bring to West Seneca, and the Relay For Life of West Seneca was born. Ten years later, countless volunteer committee members, team captains and team participants have given so much to the American

Cancer Society — to the tune of more than $1 million.

The ACS provides a variety of services to cancer patients and provides much needed funding for research. As you drive down Union Road and notice the purple ribbons, take a moment to celebrate those who have conquered the disease, remember those we have lost, and consider joining our fight next year.
